The ending of the eighth season and the entire series was endowed with a silly plot hole, which was asking for viewers by itself. The fact is that Caleb Brown said in the previous episode that he had not met the leader (that is, Loksat) and of course his right hand, so why was Beckett not alerted by the fact that he made an inscription with his nails in the car that the person who stuffed the type of Caleb Brown was Loksat right hand? Yes, even on CCTV cameras, the fake Caleb Brown is stuffed a second after the meeting... Such nonsense... Further. Did the former CIA agent not figure out that the location of the victims could be detected by a hacker if you just match the calls with the towers? WHAAT??? The end of the series left much to be desired, the moment with the magnet was cool, but disarming the leader is also so banal. And the scene at Castle's house is nonsense. Well, just. Caleb Brown is already considered dead, and he was not even suspected of having leaked everything to Loksat, so why did he come to kill them??? And the last seconds of the episode, where the characters are shown after 7 years, it turned out to be such nonsense. In the Mentalist series, it was cooler done.

Castle Episode Discussion
Didn't it seem strange to you? Maybe that was the scriptwriters' move. Like, well, he's narcissistic and confident, what will he think about the consequences of his actions? I thought it would be more exciting, but it turned out to be a slight disappointment. Here in the episode where Castle was put there was really a battle of minds, and Tyson was cool, but here...

Anyone know what the significance of the word "chichester" being etched into the chapel doors that Kate and Castle walk through in the last scene? Seems deliberate, have I missed something?
I hardly doubt these two would be together. Castle is an outsider and Beckett usually goes out with hot guys who are District attorney, Federal Agents and cops who have clean record and tough on crime and also follows police protocol and procedure. Beckett is usually an uptight bitch who hides behind the law and only cares about law and order. That is why I didn't they won't be compatible, because Castie is an outsider and a civilian and totally unqualified to date Kate Beckett.
William Bracken appears also in episode XY & XX in season 8, but that isn't in the wiki!
I wondered if they could bring back Joshua Gomez back. I want to ask if Simon Doyle comes back, maybe he would take Castle to the future and see what his life is like,
We know the show has this story arcs like 3XK and Castle's father, right? And that's one of the things we love the most about Castle. But now, the show is tying up loose ends like 3XK's case, and also finishing storylines, like Beckett's mother case. Is the show gonna bring new storylines and arcs? I love Castle, but if they take those things out, I'm probably gon' stop watching
One of my favorite parts of Castle is how his personal life sometimes solved the murder mystery. It was the parallel story lines between his family and job and the intersection of both. The last few episodes seem to be straight murder mysteries and I miss Martha and Alexis.
I how everyone will wait to add new detail (to episode, actors/actress, characters, etc.) or discuss new episodes until after they air a day or more. I sometimes can catch the episode when it airs, some have it dvr.
Are the writers of the show so desperate to waste time. Castle disappears goes through all the trouble of figuring out what happened-gets told he doesn’t want to remember and drops it? There’s obviously more than that. Is it that the writers can’t think of anything. We want to know what happened. We have a group that gets together every Monday night to watch and it's getting tired. Another month for the wedding. Is it gonna happen? Any others out there wonder what's going on or is it us??
About the scrabble game in S6E21.
the remaining letters were : H O I V L right?
wouldn't the word HOLY beat Becket 9 points??? I mean, adding HOL to the present Y on the scrabble board....
just curious, but never have played scrabble... :D

As with any long-running series involving rank, Castle has had to stagnate its main cast to keep them together. However, I still find the Attorney General story arc rather concerning. Does it seem to anyone else that this career shift, especially when she was fired after only her second case with them, would put a de facto (at least) black mark against Beckett's prospects even within the NYPD?
Under Fire will be reboardcast on March 30, 2014 on ABC for those who want to see it again and those who missed.
Can I say crazy much? How many guests are they gonna invite, besides Gates, Martha, Alexis, Esposito, Lanie, Ryan and Jenny?
