Allison Tisdale was the daughter of self-made millionaire industrialist Jonathan Tisdale, and the sister of Harrison Tisdale.
She worked as a social worker in New York City, but was killed by her brother in 2009. The purpose of the murder was so that her brother Harrison would gain her share of their inheritance to pay off his debts, and to punish their dying father, who only showed love for Allison in his view.
Her murder, which was disguised as the act of a Richard Castle copycat killer, was the first case Kate Beckett and Castle investigated together.
