Bruce Kirby is a character portrayed by Jonathan Banks in the ABC crime series Castle.

Kirby, an ex-cop kicked out for brutality, among other implied infractions, appears in "Hell Hath No Fury", and is in many ways the wellspring and archetype of the "cop is corrupted and retires" trope which manifests so often across the various seasons of Castle.

He shows zero interest in the morality of his actions, only in Mammon. Kirby took the photos of Jeff Horn in flagrante which guaranteed his client, Jason Bollinger, would win, and to some degree provoked Horn's campaigner manager, Frank Nesbit, and wife, Laurie Horn, to murder him. Kirby didn't appear to be losing any sleep over any of these facts.
