Kent Scoville is a semi-resident of Central Park who provides the Hedge Fund Homeboys with the drugs they need when their safe, monotonous lives fail to thrill.
He is the early prime suspect in the murder of Donny Kendall, but soon proves to have been a decoy, fed to Beckett and Castle as a plausible candidate by the clique of Redding Prep seniors who needed a patsy, since one of their own was really to blame.
