Esposito: Yeah, you keep working on that, bro.
Ryan: Time to pay the bill for doing the kill.
Esposito: Okay, on second thought, don't.
Castle: My hero is a liar...and a goat herder.
Castle: You told her about the poster?
Ryan: I didn’t know it was a sec-
Lanie: But to you, this is where you rebuilt your life, where you solved your mother's murder, where you fell in love.
Ryan: You know what time is it? It's Ryan time.
Esposito: Please. Just stop.
Ryan: My name's Ryan and I hate lyin'.

Trivia[]

  • The title of this episode is named after the 1993 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie of the same name.
  • The overall premise of Brock Harmon's movie, The Indestructibles, is a reference to The Expendables franchise created by Sylvester Stallone. Like The Expendables, the cast consists of aging action stars from the 1980's.
  • Castle got his bro time when he was a kid and found out his childhood idol was a lie.
  • Beckett moves in with Castle, now that she's married, and gives her apartment to her cousin Sofia.
  • Among the many parallels to members of "The Expendables", Rolf Magnus as a "Nordic bodybuilder, card-carrying member of Mensa" is clearly Dolph Lundgren, the Swedish actor whose 160 IQ belies his 6' 5" 250+lb he-man physique.
