Quotes[]

Castle: That’s what I love about the subway. Down here, everyone’s got a story.
Castle: What's the strangest pet you ever had?
Beckett: You.
Robber: Don't look at me.
Montgomery: No, look at me. I suggest you drop your weapons.
Castle: When Alexis was four, we went Christmas shopping at some mall in-- in White Plains. I was trying on some...charcoal fedora. I turn around, she is gone. Vanished. I looked everywhere. So did mall security, so did the police. We searched for an hour. You have to be a novelist to think of all the worst case scenarios.
Beckett: Where did you find her?
Castle: Behind a rack of coats. She got bored so she went to sleep. She crawled underneath there an went to sleep. To this day, I still dream about that.

Featured Music[]

  • "Infiltraitor" - Cliff Lin
  • "Salt & Spoon" - Pajaro Sunrise

Trivia[]

  • It appears that Martha doesn't like rats.
  • Castle recalls a time when he lost Alexis once in some mall in White Plains when she was 4.
  • When Alexis asks Castle to not take food, which she specially prepared for the rat, he mentions the film Ben. Martha describes that film to Alexis as a "killer-rat movie, before your time".
  • While Castle and Beckett are walking in the busy subway tunnels, there are two posters in the background to look for: one is a Damian Wilder poster (from Overkill), and the other is a Richard Castle book promo poster.
