Richard Burgi is an American actor who plays Charlie Turner, the victim's sleazy business partner, in the episode "Heartbreak Hotel" on Castle.
Born Richard William Burgi, Burgi is best known for the roles of Detective Jim Ellison on The Sentinel and as Karl Mayer on Desperate Housewives.
It is another case of role-reversal for Burgi and actor Nathan Fillion. In Firefly, Fillion's character was on the wrong side of the law and Burgi played a corrupt and extremely violent police officer hunting him down.
