Sheila Blaine is a character portrayed by Mimi Kuzyk in the ABC crime series Castle.
Sheila Blaine is the kind of Fury that many men have had nightmares about, especially as a potential mother-in-law, which is what she very nearly was to Rick Castle.
Sheila's daughter Kyra wasted three years of her life with Castle, in Mom's less than humble opinion, and even his subsequent success as a writer can't disguise the fact that he is fundamentally declassé, and no one and nothing will ever persuade her otherwise.
Perhaps to Castle's regret, Sheila is never a viable suspect in the Sophie Ronson murder which is the thorn of "A Rose for Everafter", but she does get in multiple barbs of her own every time they cross paths. Castle visibly shudders at Beckett's observation that, had things gone differently, he would be spending every Thanksgiving with Sheila.
