Quotes[]

Ryan: No, you may not. And rather than pick a name for my kid, you should pick a date for your wedding.
Castle: Pick a date for my wedding? I was planning on bringing her. (looking to Beckett)
Beckett: Really. When is that? I might have plans.
Esposito (to Ryan): "Javier"? You're going to name a white, Irish kid "Javier"?
Ryan: What? You gonna bust on me now for being sentimental?
Esposito: I figure it's my last chance. (Ryan laughs)
Jenny: Kevin! You're alive.
Lanie (to Esposito): Javi! (Run to hug him) Thank God. (Ryan climbs in the ambulance and kisses Jenny as Castle and Beckett hug)
Ryan (gasps when he sees his baby daughter): You're both beautiful.
Jenny: Kevin, I'd like you to meet Sarah Grace.

Trivia[]

  • Lanie helps Jenny deliver (offscreen) baby Sarah Grace Ryan in the back of an ambulance while Kevin Ryan was in the burning building.
  • Both Captain Gates and Castle figure out how the arsonist had a secret escape route from the sub-basement.
  • In this episode, Ryan's daughter is born who is named Sarah Grace after Jenny's grandmother. We also know that if the baby would have been a boy he would have been named Javier as a dedication for Esposito from Ryan displaying that he is grateful for Epositos' loyalty and commitment to their partnership.
  • The moment Beckett casually says that she will not ask him how he could possibly know about the pyrophilia obsession, Castle suddenly breaks the 4th wall.
